Details Of The Text: Rathoddhatā (रथोद्धता) is the name of a Sanskrit metre (chandas) of the Vṛtta-type (akṣarachandas: metres regulated by akṣaras, syllabes).—The metre Rathoddhatā, which consists of eleven syllables in each foot with the gaṇas ra, na, ra, la and ga, is found to be employed in the Śrīkaṇṭhacarita.
