Details Of The Author: or Vedāṅgarāya (1627 ̶ 1655 A. D.), son of Tigalābhaṭṭa, grandson of Ratnabhaṭṭa, a native of Śrīsthala in Gujarat and  father of Nandikeśvara (a. of Gaṇakamaṇḍana, jy.); was conferred the title Vedāṅgarāya by Emperor Shah Jehan and  also was patroniged by him.
