Details Of The Author: (A. D. 1200 ̶ 75), son of Prāṇakara (a. of Ṣaṭśatagāthākośa) a ruler of the Northern provinces of the Orissa Kings of Gaṅga dynasty; the capital was changed by Medinīkara from an inland town to a place on the Kasāi, still known in Bengal as Medinīpur.
